Trip to Ireland (part 3)

Located on the west coast of Ireland, Cliffs of Mohair provides one of the most spectacular views. It was little overcast during our trip to Inishmaan Island, but I did managed to capture of these images on the way back. I hope you enjoy these pictures.

Trip to Ireland (part 2)

The west coast of Ireland is full of historic places and I got the chance to visit Inishmaan island. It is the middle of the three main Aran Islands in Galway Bay. It took us one hour to arrive on the island through a ferry from Doolin. I had an amazing time on Inishmaan island. These islands represents just how well kept is traditional Irish culture in these modern times.

Reference from Wikipedia:

There are two notable stone forts on the island. Dún Chonchúir (Conor’s Fort) is an ancient oval stone fort, dating to pre-Christian times, with views of the island’s other ancient sites and the sea. And the stone fort Dún Fearbhaí, which dates from the 4th century A.D. and is unusual in being almost rectangular – instead of circular as the other forts on the island.
